Parents protest at UNILAG over the school’s admission cutoff mark (PHOTOS)

For about four hours now, some aggrieved parents have been protesting peacefully at the University of Lagos gate.

Their grievance is that the school has refused to accept the Joint Admission Matriculations Board (JAMB)’s approved cutoff mark of 180 and has imposed its own cutoff mark of 250.

They also want the Registrar of JAMB Prof. Dibu Ojerinde to go.

Their action not only caused traffic on the entrance of the university, it later resulted in the forceful closure of the gate.
